“We had decided as part of our process of replacing our windows and front door to gather 3 quotes spread amongst national companies to more local contractors. We found the time we spent with Almondvale in our house very relaxing and in no way intimidating. There was no trickery with the quotation – what you were quoted was what you would more or less pay. Other companies would try to bamboozle us with a very high starting price coming down and down with offer, after offer, after offer. We found this quite off putting and much preferred the more relaxed and direct style of quotation. Even though Almondvale were not the cheapest quotation we got, we decided that we liked the windows but more importantly liked the way they went about their business. There was no pressure or push from the salesmen in one direction or another with regards to the finishing of the windows. The windows were fitted in a timely manner and the finish was satisfactory.

When you ask a tradesman into your house to do a job the assumption is that they know how to do that job correctly so the fitting of the windows satisfactorily is not really why we were so pleased. The way in which they were fitted was fantastic. The whole house was double glazed and a new front door put on inside 2 days, and when the joiner left on both days there was absolutely no mess, no disruption and no problems. They tidied up behind themselves as if it were their own house. This is what makes the difference between an acceptable standard of service and an exceptional standard of service. This service reflects on the main company – Almondvale. Obviously with any large project there were some minor problems throughout the job, but we found dealing with Almondvale was no problem and there was never any suggestion that they would not rectify our concerns.

This they did very speedily and very courteously and the job was completed to our total satisfaction. We would have no hesitation in recommending Almondvale to others – as many of our friends and neighbours have already enquired about where we got our windows from. I am delighted that we decided to purchase our windows from Almondvale and am delighted to have done business with them and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.“
