The Almondvale French Door range comprises two different types of door to choose between. The more widely known uPVC French Door or Rockdoor Composite French Doors.
uPVC French Doors
uPVC French doors, sometimes known as French windows, are a wonderful way of bringing your garden into your home. French doors are hinged to the sides, meaning that when closed you have a fabulous aspect from which to view your garden. Almondvale can also fit side panes beside your French Doors to get the maximum amount of daylight into your room.
uPVC front doors from Almondvale are virtually maintenance free. Unlike conventional timber doors, a uPVC door will not rot, flake, twist or warp. In fact all you need to do to keep your door looking great the whole year round is an occasional wipe down with a damp cloth.
An Almondvale uPVC door will add to the warmth, strength and overall comfort of your home by keeping noise and draughts out. Built to last, our front doors are fully reinforced with galvanised steel for extra strength, rigidity and security.

Composite French Doors by Rockdoor
Rockdoor Composite French Doors offer customers ultimate security currently available on the market, whilst still enhancing your home with an appealing design and range of finishes. This range of French doors have been specifically developed with heightened security in mind, and have even proven to out-do the police in tests to force entry.

Enhanced Security from Rockdoor French Doors
In a French Door pairing there is a ‘Master’ and ‘Slave’ door. The Rockdoor design for French doors includes the following features to ensure maximum possible security to the home it protects:
- Reinforced Multi Point Hook Locks in the master door that secure to the slave door
- Concealed Shoot Bolts in the slave door at top and bottom fastening into the frame
- Butt Hinges in the inner frame
- Hinge Bolts & Grub Screws to stop the door being prised or lifted from the frame
