What happens when I request a Conservatory quote?
Outlined below is the process we follow, when we are contacted for a conservatory quote:
- Almondvale will call you to arrange an appointment for a visit
- One of our qualified team will come to you home to discuss your requirements, and from this will hand sketch or use CAD design software (based on the time you have available) to produce a preliminary impression of your new conservatory, orangery or sunroom.
- We will invite you to see the quality of our workmanship at our local showroom, so that you can be confident that your finished conservatory or orangery will match your expectations.
- Sometimes a pre-survey is necessary, where an architect will accompany an Almondvale representative on a visit to your home to ensure plans for the conservatory are without fault.
- We hope you will be pleased to book your new conservatory, orangery or sunroom with us.
- If your new room is bigger than 8 sq m. an architect will visit to measure up for an architectural drawing which is submitted to the local council. If smaller than 8 sq. m. no building warrant is required so the build can proceed immediately.
- When the building warrant is approved, we will contact you to arrange an introductory site visit by our builder who will arrange a date convenient to you for the base to be built.

When will my uPVC Conservatory be finished?
A building warrant takes approximately 4-6 weeks to be approved by the council.
Usual timeframe for the build:
The base is installed in week 1
The structure is installed in week 2
Finishing (electrical, decorating etc.) week 3
In total the entire process usually takes 12-14 weeks from confirmed order to complete the job.
Almondvale will take care of all plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling, and decorating which is completed to a high standard.
Almondvale also offer conservatory furniture and can help you furnish your new space.
